  1. Great episode Cathy! Awesome job, dialogue, information, and most of all, an awesome guest in Kathleen. Looking forward to many more of these episodes to come. Congrats!

  2. Thank you, Mike G.! I highly value and appreciate your kind and thoughtful words and encouragement, as well as you taking the time to listen, keep an open mind, and support those who may have struggles that may be different from you! You are one empathetic and awesome individual!

Kathleen is indeed an incredible human being. She was a fantastic and articulate guest. I am so honored to have had her participate so generously. Thanks for noticing her incredible spirit and gift.

  3. Cathy,
Thanks for sharing this great interview. It’s so important to hear these kinds of conversations in our society. There are so many assumptions and misunderstands surrounding women without children, and this interview was so refreshing and frank. Thank you.

    1. Thank you, Lisa for this wonderful comment. You are so welcome. I whole-heartedly agree that these conversations are wonderful things to share, as well as there are assumptions and misunderstandings that are commonly made about women (and men) without children. The only way to dispel that is to talk about it and share it as widely as possible! I am so happy to have this never-before created platform!

  4. I loved how honest and open both Kathleen and you are. You show us an example of how one does not have to have a baby to be fertile in her life. She (and you) are fertile mothers of the earth and exemplify courage.
Thank you for sharing this important story of hope. Although one of my jobs is to help others have babies, I know happy endings does not always equate to having a baby. I hope you will continue to share stories of all types.

    1. Mary, thank you so very kindly for your thoughtful comment and your kind words. Kathleen was a wonderful and easy-to-talk to guest. She makes it a pleasure to be honest and open about such a challenging subject. What a beautiful thing to say that we are both “fertile mothers of the earth and exemplify courage.” That touched my heart. Thank you!

You are very welcome, and I do hope this story does indeed come across as a story of hope as you said. Loving oneself – regardless of what life throws at us – is paramount to creating a happy ending for each of us. YES we plan to share stories of hope of all kinds here at SS&FE! Thank you so much for the support!
