Unlock Your Fertility With Mind Power

I’ve written a lot here at B-Method about ways to take charge of your physical health. Things like the power of food to heal, moving your body to stay fit, and sleep to reset your hormones.

These are all amazing tools that can help you get healthier and stronger, and, no doubt about it, they can boost your fertility too.

They’re all things that I did when I found myself wanting to have my first baby over 40, and with dismal fertility test results and a grim outlook for my success. I know that getting healthier contributed to my being able to conceive my son.

I also know that there’s another crucial piece to the puzzle that is so necessary to maximize your chances of conception, and it doesn’t have anything to do with physical health.

I’m talking about mindset.

If you don’t really and truly believe that you will be successful, you won’t be, and it doesn’t matter how many green leafy vegetables you eat or how often you exercise.

This was made blatantly obvious to me when I was trying to get pregnant and was doing all the “right” things. After two miscarriages and a cancelled cycle, I found myself on a most decidedly unwelcomed break from fertility treatment, with a lot of time to reflect on my journey thus far.

Even though I was hopeful I’d have a baby, I realized that up to that point, my mind and my body were disconnected. I was telling myself I was too old to successfully conceive, that my eggs were too old, and that I wasn’t meant to be a mother.

I knew that I had to do something to approach my journey differently.

I needed to connect my mind and body to do that.

Through this process I discovered meditation as the tool to help me get over my negative mindset around my fertility. To create a meditation practice, I did breathing exercises (pranayama), ramped up my yoga practice, created positive affirmations that I repeated to myself daily, and created my own custom meditation, inspired by my own fertility story, that I listened to several times a day, every day.

After just a few weeks, I began to notice a shift. I was feeling more comfortable in my body, and more confident about my journey. Most importantly, I discovered that I was fully grounded in the present moment. Rather than lamenting my past unsuccessful cycles, or ruminating over the future cycles that hadn’t happened yet, I was fully focused on the current cycle and the follicles that were growing inside me.

I’d reprogrammed my subconscious and found the inner sense of peace I’d been seeking all along. It’s not a coincidence that I conceived my son shortly after that.

I don’t diminish the importance of the physical improvements I made in my life, and still keep them up today, but I know that the mindset practice was the game-changer for me.

If you’d like to learn more about how I used meditation to help me on my journey I share this story in an upcoming online fertility summit, beginning May 8.

At the First IVF Summit Series: Integrative Fertility Summit, Creating Balance For Successful Conception, I, along with 20 other worldwide experts, will share our wisdom, knowledge and strategies that will help you to prepare yourself physically, emotionally and mentally to conceive the baby you’ve dreamed of.

At the summit you’ll learn:

  • How to take control of your body, your health, mind, and spirit and prepare yourself to increase your chances for a baby.
  • Steps you can start to take, to forgive, to let go guilty feelings, not to be stuck in the past or focus in the future but to be present.
  • Learn How to be gentle with yourself, nourishing and compassionate within, so you will know how to be the same caring and nourishing mom to a baby.
  • Learning how to reprogram your thoughts and shift your negativity and anxiety into positivity and start to build a new reality in your fertility journey.
  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Acupressure and other techniques
  • Love and connection to your inner soul

The summit is free and you don’t have to go anywhere. You can watch from the comfort of your own home, snuggled up on the sofa with a cup of tea, soaking up all the knowledge.

Grab your spot here.

Changing your mindset is a process, not an event. It takes time and commitment and most of all, the belief that you will prevail, but the rewards are well worth it. The summit will help show you how.

I can’t wait to see you there.

Love and baby dust,

Stephanie xo
