Conception of a pregnancy is dependent on a variety of factors including age and the number of obstacles in the husband and wife’s health that need to be overcome. For a relatively young married couple that is fertile the chances of a normal and natural conception are only 22% in each menstrual cycle. It usually will take a healthy, fertile young couple 6-9 months to conceive naturally. Infertility treatments are revolutionary in that they more than double the chances of a pregnancy conception and so the chances of success are definitely higher with the correct procedure.
